Welcome to the 2012 Capital Queer Prom

Welcome to the Capital Queer Prom! The 6th Annual Capital Queer Prom is ready to make you a winner on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at the luxurious Almas Shriners Ballroom. Are you ready for our Carnival Extravaganza?

Prom guests will enjoy a fun-filled evening that includes a variety of interactive carnival games and entertainment, plus cocktails and canapés, dancing, a sensational Silent Auction, and Prom Photos, all leading to the Crowning of the 2012 Prom King and Queen.

In addition to Saturday night's Carnival Extravaganza, there will be a Dazzling & Delicious Drag Brunch at Nellie's on Sunday, March 25.

The 2012 Capital Queer Prom Beneficiary

This year's prom beneficiary is Transgender Health Empowerment (T.H.E.), a local non-profit organization solely dedicated to supporting the transgender community.

With the ongoing reports of transgender people being aggressively bullied and harmed in the metropolitan area—and the consequences of this discrimination—we remain steadfast in our support of our entire LGBTQ Community! Learn more.
